The Eye Surgery Center of the Carolinas is a member of SCA Health which is among the largest surgical care providers in the Unites States. Our history reflects a commitment to provide safe high quality care to our patients of all ages in the most cost effective manner. Our skilled team of physicians, registered nurses, surgical technicians, and anesthesia personnel perform thousands of surgical procedures a year in three fully equipped operating rooms. The Eye Surgery Center of the Carolinas was established in 1982 in Pinehurst/Southern Pines, North Carolina, by Dr. Robert Gale Martin and Dr. George Tate, Jr. as part of Carolina Eye Associates. Since 2007, the center has become a member with Surgical Care Affiliates, one of the largest providers of surgical care in the United States.
The Eye Surgery Center of the Carolinas enjoys a partnership with Carolina Eye Associates to ensure that all of our patients receive first rate care.
